Does rosacea tretment also remove facial hari?
Im thinking of having Aesthera PPx treatment for rosacea at the harley medical group but i am concerned that it may remove facial hair at the same time (which being male is not a desired effect!!) does anyone know if this is the case ? thanx in advance
Why not go to your GP? The standard treatment works quite well and should cause you no damage or concern.
Any help with rosacea question and using rozex metronidazole cream pleeeeease….?
My husband has been diagnosed with rosacea. I’m very worried about him and trying to get my head round all this and how I can see its affecting him inside. He’s trying to watch his diet etc. He left work early last night because he said his face was practically on fire, it just seems like such an awful condition, one that we know cannot be cured. He’s been on the rozex cream for only about 10 days, but since using it his skin seems to be getting worse, redder and redder. Is this possible with the cream or is it just that he’s probably eaten or drank something that is triggering a reaction? How long do reactions last and do they normally come on straight away? Is it possible that we the right treatment he can have normal skin or will it always be red like this? I’ve made another appointment with the doctors for Monday and I think I’ll go with him so we can both ask any questions that we have. What in your opinion is the best and most effective treatment for rosacea?
Many thanks
rosacea is a form of acne. Doctors do not have a good resolution to this problem because they treat the symptoms, not the "root cause." Yes, get their opinions, but that is what it is, an opinion. The proven link to acne is a disordered intestinal bacterial ecology often due to intestinal infections. Poor diet exascerbates this condition, especially eating fried foods, hydrogenated oils, sugar, vegetable oils (like Canola, Soybean, Cottonseed, and Corn oils). If your husband was breast fed as an infant, he stands a better chance of getting over this more rapidly.
If he concentrates of treating the problem and not the root cause, he will suffer a long time with this. If he concentrates on making his body healthy, overall, and focuses on improving his digestive track and organs involved in that, he should see some results relatively quickly and drugs are NOT going to do that for him.
I strongly suggest he see a Certified Nutritional Therapist to get tested for nutritional deficiencies and get a good diet that is going to make him healthy.
What do you use for your daily skin care?
I’m 15 and all my life I’ve been using soap and I think I’m missing out so much on my skin care already! Please tell me about cleansers and moisterizers and and makeup remover, which ones you use, and which products can clean throughly and gently! I’m really grateful I don’t even know the basics!
yeah ill be 15 this july
i use proactiv. it works like magic! the moisturizers that come with it work really well. a little goes a long way with that stuff.
i also like bath & body works lotion. its so soft it makes your skin as soft as a baby’s bottom! lol
other than that i dont put a ton of stuff on my face.
i used to use this amaaaazing moisturizer by smashbox, called "picture prefect" or something like that. it was made with ingredients from apricot and more, and softened and gave your skin a picture-perfect finish
before proactiv, i used Oxy facial pads, and they didnt do a whole lot for me. one day i washed my face with oxy pads in the morning, then Sea Breeze ones at night. the next day i woke up with a terrible bumpy rash on my face.
i read the back of both packages to see if i had any allergies.
i saw that it said "do not combine with other products. it may cause irritation or rash" and it sure did!
what i used to try to cover the rash was my moms Bare Mnerals. its good cuz it wont clog your pores and cause more acne. the only bad part was that im a little too pale for my moms Bare Minerals kit
good luck finding products!
What’s the best winter skin care product for women age 34-35?
I have used Chanel skin care products for 8 years. For years, it worked wonders. I still don’t have any visible lines. And I don’t want to get any lines. I heard from a friend of my mother’s that I should change my skincare regimen every season or every year. I am wondering if there’s any reputable brand (except for Dr. Brandt, Clarins and Clinique) that will help my skin shine, become luminous, and prevent wrinkles from appearing.
There’s no reason to change your skincare regime if it’s working. You may want to add or substitute products as the season’s change to meet your skin’s needs. I switch to a gel cleanser in the summer and add in a bit of extra moisture in the winter. If your skin is dry, I really love BioElements x10 Moisture Gel. You put in on under moisturizer and it gives an extra boost of moisture. When I use that and Jane Iredale Tinted Moisturizer in Peach (which corrects discoloration, I have rosecea), my skin looks amazing.
Depending on what Chanel products you are using you may want to use their moisturizing toner, the name of which escapes me even though I use it regularly. It’s the pink one.

is it painful, how much would it cost, and how long would it take?
Rosacea is a chronic condition characterized by facial erythema (redness). Pimples are sometimes included as part of the definition.Unless it affects the eyes, it is typically a harmless cosmetic condition. Treatment, if wanted, usually involves topical medications to reduce inflammation.
It primarily affects Caucasians of mainly northwestern European descent and has been nicknamed the ‘curse of the Celts’ by some in Britain and Ireland, but can also affect people of other ethnicities. Rosacea affects both sexes, but is almost three times more common in women. It has a peak age of onset between 30 and 60.

How do i cure anxiety?
I have anxiety and don’t want to take medication for it. The only medications i’ve taken is Xanax and it is addictive and makes me black out sometimes. Plus it’s hard nowadays to get a dr. to prescribe them for you.
When i get nervous, I break out in red blotches. I believe it is called rosacea. It shows up on my face, neck chest and more… but those places everyone sees. It’s so embarrassing
How do i keep myself from getting so nervous and anxious all the time w/out meds?
Hello Secret Girl,
The only thing that works for me is xanax to and it is addicting…I don’t know I wish too I didn’t have to be so anxious it sucks…
What is the best skin care line for African American women?
I have been looking for a good skin care line for African American women but I haven’t found any. I haven’t tried Clean & Clear or Clearasil because Im not sure if they are for women of my tone. My main problems with my skin is dryness and discoloration. I frequently have blemishes or pimples but having a good cleanser and moisturizer to fight against that would be good as well.
correction: I have occasional breakouts and my skin is also very sensitive. I’ve suffer from exzema as a child.
You should try Black Opal Products or Ambi Products. I use Black Opal and it works well on problem skin; blemishes, acne, discoloration, oily and dry skin….. You can find the products in CVS, Rite-Aid, Wal- Greens and just about any grocery store..
