Best skin care for fair face? Rosacea cure?
I have a major issue with my face. I don’t when I got these two dark spots on the both sides of my nose, last time when I saw my face I was puzzled to see them. I never had any problem in my facial skin except this one. Please anyone..guy or a gal can help me telling how can i get out from the problem which looks like rosacea. More importantly, I am not able to fix it - whether it is rosacea or something else. Is fair n lovely right for it?
The only person that can give you the proper advice is a Dermatologist.
How do I keep my rosacea under control?
I just recently looked up the symptoms of rosacea and I have practically all of them. All this time I thought it was acne but now I am starting to wonder if it is rosacea. I am going to try taking care of my skin differently now that I know that it is probably rosacea. How do I take care of it?
I have heard that aloe vera gel is very good for rosacea too, could you please tell me more about that?
I also suffer from rosacea, and have for some time now.I have tried everything from aloe vera to zen med.The only thing yhat seems to work for me is eating properly,(Limit spicy foods, alcohol, and hot beverages.) And I use a product called Rosacalm which gets rid of the redness.
You can buy it at helpforrosacea.com. I did a little research and found it to be the best solution for taming rosacea without getting surgery or prescription drugs.
Good Luck
How many people really pay attention to the ingredients in skin care/makeup products?
I’m very curious to know how many people really understand how important ingredients are in cosmetics and skin care. Everything we put on our bodies gets absorbed into the blood stream and cause illness/diseases/even cancers. We get what we pay for and this is not an area to look for cheap products. What do you think?
no one knows.
GET THE WORD OUT THERE.
Does anyone have any recommendations for alleviating rosacea?
I am 30 and have had this since I was a teenager. I didn’t even make the connection until about 3 years ago. I have really red skin and the broken capillaries. I use bare essentuals mineral make up. It is so frustrating because my skin never looks nice and I know I would be so much prettier if I didn’t have this! I really can’t afford the big laser treatments.
REK,
Have you ever tried Arbonne.? I have friends who suffer and use the regime - Intelligence line or even the baby line - and it really helps with the redness.
I’d be happy to help pass on info or samples to help. Even the before after photo -
What are good ssential oils for skin care?
I’ve heard that when it comes to skin care, you need to use essential oils (not base oils). What’s the difference between the two? I’ve been using Jojoba oil but I think I want to switch it around a bit. What’s better for facial skin care, combination skin? There’s jojoba, almond, grape seed, tea tree, sunflower seed, coconut, etc.
Overall, the effects of essential oils may be divided into two basic groups. Some essential oils have actual physical effects. For example, eucalyptus oil can be inhaled to help clear sinuses and the respiratory tract. This would obviously relieve some symptoms of an upper respiratory infection (URI). Some oils may be used topically (directly on the skin, where they would usually be absorbed by the body, or on a wound) to possibly relieve swelling or fight certain infections.

How much does a skin care specialist earn an hour and for their first year?
I want to study cosmetology, but I’m more interested in skin care. I know cosmetologists get paid like 6 an hour, but how much does a skin care specialist get paid??
An hourly rate completely depends on who you are working for and what the terms of your employment are. For example, if you rent your own space and are doing simple european facials, you can generally charge between $65 and $150 per hour depending on where you are located (nowhere, Virginia or New York City). If you own the space, this is all yours - do 4 a day and you have yourself a nice $100,000 per year job. If you enter into a "split" agreement with a spa or clinic owner, you may get a 50% split of whatever you do, so the same facial, you will get $35 to $75 for each treatment. The difference here is that you have no expenses or overhead to deal with.
Lastly, if you have specialty equipment like a LipoMax, or DermaPod machine, for example, you can charge a LOT more for each treatment - well into the hundreds. Also- you can set up repeat treatments to get a much higher average customer value.
Is there any connection between dry eye symptoms and rosacea?
What sort of treatments work well for this condition?
Ocular rosacea (OR) occurs fairly often. A rare, but potential, complication of untreated OR is blindness.
Treatments:
… Hot compresses applied to the eyelid margins.
… Cleaning the eyelashes with a damp Q-Tip; may need to use diluted baby shampoo.
… "Light pressure applied to the eyelids can aid in gland expression." [eMedicine]
… Medication as prescribed
There’s a clinical trial in New York that is currently recruiting for patients with OR:

What’s the best skin care product for treating large pores on the cheeks?
I’m 33 years old and have recently really started to look at better skin care products. I’m using Biotherm’s aquasource cleanser, toner and gel cream and noticed a GINORMOUS difference immediately. ( I was using Nivea before-a bit too heavy for my skin) Anyway, I have these large pores on my cheeks but the skin is fairly dry. ..Any suggestions?
There is a pore minimizing range at clinique i think they will help alot but they are quite steep on money.. take a look at the products..
