I have a major issue with my face. I don’t when I got these two dark spots on the both sides of my nose, last time when I saw my face I was puzzled to see them. I never had any problem in my facial skin except this one. Please anyone..guy or a gal can help me telling how can i get out from the problem which looks like Rosacea. More importantly, I am not able to fix it – whether it is rosacea or something else. Is fair n lovely right for it?
The only person that can give you the proper advice is a Dermatologist.

Best skin care for fair face? Rosacea cure?
What could be the reason of skin redness?
It’s a while that my mom‘s face turns into red (not always). Something similar to a reaction to a food or when u come out from a sauna
. Skin and internal doctors didn’t see anything special in the blood and other test. She’s 47 years old. What could be the reasons? what’s the cure?
shouldn’t be Rosacea
Rosacea Subtypes
Erythematotelangiectatic: facial flushing, persistent redness and telangiectasias
(small squiggly red blood vessels)
Papulopustular: bumps or pustules (pus-filled bumps)
Phymatous: thickening of certain areas of the skin that may lead to enlargement of the nose, chin or ears
Ocular: redness of the eyes with burning, stinging, or dryness
People with rosacea tend to have not only dilated blood vessels, but an increased number of blood vessels, resulting in the skin redness. With erythematotelangiectatic rosacea, the redness most often shows up on the central face, including the cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. It may also appear elsewhere on the body such as the neck, ears, scalp, back, extremities and abdomen. Other signs usually include easy flushing or blushing of the face and telangiectasias. Burning or stinging of the facial skin is not uncommon. The skin may be very sensitive and dryness and swelling may be present.

Skin condition: Rosacea Need Sympathy HELP!?
Over 2 months of denial i finally can say i have rosacea. I had suffered over a 4 months of a horrile break out that left my face red. Now that it has cleared up i am left with another realization. My face is never clear or the way it used to be. Its rosy at the cheek area and nose. i went to the doctor and gave me metrocream that was a treatment for rosacea. Its been at least 2 weeks of usage and i dnt think its working. Its not bright red but u can notice rosy-ness. Does anyone else have mild cases of rosacea and cured it or at least make it unnoticable. It real bothers me and my self-esteem. Is surgery the only answer to this situation. I think i had it was a was small but then its long gone. Since its almost summer im worried its going to be worst. One day its better and the next day its worst/!. PLEASE HELP
Does accupuncture help? or do i need to clean out my intestine?
I have had rosacea for 20 years.
If you think the metrocream isn’t working well, ask for another type of treatment. Most rosacea treatments contain metronidazole, but sometimes one form (such as Noritate) may work where another one (like Metrogel) doesn’t. Do not stop the Metrocream; untreated rosacea can cause scarring and deformity of your nose. Please, please be aware that it can take 1-2 months for rosacea medications to work!
You may want to ask your physician about oral antibiotics or oral steroids during severe rosacea breakouts. Surgery isn’t usually an option until scarring and nose enlargement has already occurred.
This article http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/rosacea/DS00308 talks about rosacea, including tips to help prevent it.
Rosacea can be a crippling blow to your self-esteem. You certainly have my sympathy, as right now I’m having a terrible rosacea breakout on my cheeks.
cure for rosacea???
How do I get rid of my rosacea???
There is no cure at this time. Go see a doctor and they can give you prescriptions for creams that will help. You can also go to a spa and get facials which help. The Red Door Spa has a facial just for people with rosacea.
Rosacea skin disease?
My mom’s got Rosacea, it’s a skin disease that leaves red patches on your face and completely changes the pigment wherever it is. In serious cases it can cover more than half the face. Today at brunch she almost seemed in tears talking about it, and Im just wondering if anyone knows a really good make up product that covers very well? I feel so bad for her I want to do anything to make her feel better.
OR any type of cream of medication that can make it less noticible or something? She told me you can’t cure it, so there’s got to be something she can do at least.
thanks
I’ve looked up some things for you so check some of these out for yourself and see. I know that Aloe Vera Gel should help to soothe the skin when it feels inflammed or itchy so that might help as far as comfort goes, but it probably won’t help redness. (It should be pretty cheap though). The first link is for creams that might help.
For make up:
Revlon Colorstay (it won’t cover the redness completely but should help some) It’s about $11 and you can find it at any drugstore. They have two different formulas for the liquid foundation. For combo/oily skin and for normal/dry skin.
Dermablend. This is supposed to be very good at covering it. It is a bit pricy though ($32 per ounce).
There are other make ups that shoul work too, so try googling. I just gave you two options, one that’s more affordable but not as good, and one that’s more pricy but works better. You should be able to buy Dermablend on ebay for cheaper.
Let your mom know you think she’s beautiful.
I’ve been diagnosed with a moderate case of Rosacea on my Left Nut..my question is..?
Was informed through internet circles of my condition and to use Ruli Gel to stop the itching and to keep my testes free of moisture such as sweat or urine. However it’s now spreading to the underneath of my right side (of my ball) and luckily it’s not exposed on any other area of my body such as the facial cheeks or nose like some have it. But, it’s been going on 3-weeks now and no sign of the redness going away. Chaffing seems to fade in and out…no swelling, slight burning when I pee, but only done this twice–well, really it was three times, but once was the same episode, because I went pee again in the same hour and it burned both times. So, counting that as only once or one episode.
Anybody else have redness around the marble sack?
No funds for doctors, trying to cure myself here. Maybe Bag Balm???
Thanks
Wow! A clinic sounds like you should be in one bright in early in the morning!!! It could spread to your penis and no hanky for you Mr. Panky!!!
How can I help my mom with her rosacea?
Ever since I was little, I remember my mother’s flushed red skin on her chest… It was just part of her..Now she is about to be 46 years old and is experiencing painful pimples on her face- the dermatologist said it is the rosacea on her chest starting to come up to her face…
My mom is a very… shall we say… emotional/emotionally unstable person- she was an alcoholic for the majority of her life but has since stopped. I know alcohol may be a trigger…
So are there any tips to help her with this? i guess there is no real cure for it, i suggested keeping a diary to pinpoint the possible causes.. What do you do for your rosacea? please help… thank you
Im English and have suffered on and off for years until recently I moved to Spain and while at the Doctors with a different complaint he ask me about my rosacea and what treatment I have had .I told him I had tried lots of things but nothing worked , so he sent me for a blood test and I discovered I had very high levels of uric acid in my blood .So after following an alkaline diet for a few weeks it has completely cleared up .Your mum may want to try it for a while she has nothing to lose only weight , iv lost 18 pound and feel much better.
The alcohol problem will irritate the liver because of the excess acid that maybe why she had it , the toxins have to go somewhere.
Any help with rosacea question and using rozex metronidazole cream pleeeeease….?
My husband has been diagnosed with rosacea. I’m very worried about him and trying to get my head round all this and how I can see its affecting him inside. He’s trying to watch his diet etc. He left work early last night because he said his face was practically on fire, it just seems like such an awful condition, one that we know cannot be cured. He’s been on the rozex cream for only about 10 days, but since using it his skin seems to be getting worse, redder and redder. Is this possible with the cream or is it just that he’s probably eaten or drank something that is triggering a reaction? How long do reactions last and do they normally come on straight away? Is it possible that we the right treatment he can have normal skin or will it always be red like this? I’ve made another appointment with the doctors for Monday and I think I’ll go with him so we can both ask any questions that we have. What in your opinion is the best and most effective treatment for rosacea?
Many thanks
Rosacea is a form of acne. Doctors do not have a good resolution to this problem because they treat the symptoms, not the "root cause." Yes, get their opinions, but that is what it is, an opinion. The proven link to acne is a disordered intestinal bacterial ecology often due to intestinal infections. Poor diet exascerbates this condition, especially eating fried foods, hydrogenated oils, sugar, vegetable oils (like Canola, Soybean, Cottonseed, and Corn oils). If your husband was breast fed as an infant, he stands a better chance of getting over this more rapidly.
If he concentrates of treating the problem and not the root cause, he will suffer a long time with this. If he concentrates on making his body healthy, overall, and focuses on improving his digestive track and organs involved in that, he should see some results relatively quickly and drugs are NOT going to do that for him.
I strongly suggest he see a Certified Nutritional Therapist to get tested for nutritional deficiencies and get a good diet that is going to make him healthy.

How do i cure anxiety?
I have anxiety and don’t want to take medication for it. The only medications i’ve taken is Xanax and it is addictive and makes me black out sometimes. Plus it’s hard nowadays to get a dr. to prescribe them for you.
When i get nervous, I break out in red blotches. I believe it is called rosacea. It shows up on my face, neck chest and more… but those places everyone sees. It’s so embarrassing
How do i keep myself from getting so nervous and anxious all the time w/out meds?
Hello Secret Girl,
The only thing that works for me is xanax to and it is addicting…I don’t know I wish too I didn’t have to be so anxious it sucks…
