Are you sure this is rosacea? Simply having a red nose-ish when you have a cold is not enough. She can’t if it is rosacea. She needs to see a doctor to find out if it IS rosacea. Doesn’t sound like it though.

Is she sure that it is rosacea ? just having a red-ish nose when you have a cold is not enough.
Most doctors will be able to diagnose if it is indeed rosacea – are there papules or pustules or visible broken blood vessels for eg. You do need a doctor to make sure you are on the right track to start with.
